In considering your application, we, Forces Tax Free Car Sales, will forward your application to Armed Services Finance Ltd, who will search your record at credit reference agencies. They will add to your record details of their search and your application, and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches. It is important that you give them accurate information. They will check your details with a fraud prevention agency and if you give them false or inaccurate information and they suspect fraud they will record this. Your record will be shared with other organisations and used by them to:

• help make decisions about credit for you and members of your household
• trace debtors, recover debt and prevent money laundering and fraud

We and the credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agency will also use your record for statistical analysis about credit and about insurance and fraud. Fraud prevention agency records will also be shared with other organisations to help make decisions on car, household, credit, life and other insurance proposals and insurance claims, for you and members of your household. Please write to them or telephone them on UK 01733 372850 if you want to have details of those credit reference and fraud prevention agencies from whom they obtain and to whom they pass information about you. You have a legal right to these details. You have a right to receive a copy of the information they hold about you if you apply to them in writing. A fee will be payable. If they are unable to proceed with your application they may pass such details to other selected businesses that may also conduct searches at credit reference and fraud prevention agencies. Armed Services Finance Ltd and its approved agents will use the information requested on this form.
